I am currently applying for the position of Director General (BPS-21) in the Ministry of Federal Education and Vocational Training. This position is based on merit. The details are as follows:
Under the administrative control of the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) in Islamabad, applications are invited for the position of Director General (BPS-21) on a contractual basis for an initial period of two years. The details are as follows:
Criteria/Qualifications and Experience:
A master’s degree in finance/accounts from a recognized university (minimum of 18 years of education) in the field of economics/management/public policy, public administration, law, education leadership, management, and/or policy. Or a minimum of 20 years of experience in the fields of management education, public policy, public administration, education, leadership, management, and/or policy, or law.
In addition to the above, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably at a senior management level, or at least 3 years of experience as a head of a public or private sector organization.

In the case of selection as a government servant, the candidate will have to resign or retire from their current position in the department/organization, and their acceptance of resignation/retirement will be subject to approval by the appointing authority.
