The Heavy Industries Taxila Board has announced vacancies for the position of Consultant Budget for the year 2024. After selection, the successful candidate will be eligible for conversion. The duration of the consultancy budget position is three years. The details are as follows:
Vacancies for Consultant Budget 2024:
1. The Heavy Industries Taxila Board, Taxila Cantonment, invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of “Consultant Budget.” Detailed terms and hours of official website, i.e., www.hit.gov.pk, are available.
The applicants must possess the following qualifications:
1. At least Intermediate qualification (16 years) or equivalent with a first division throughout the educational career.
2. Experience in financial management in public sector organizations.
3. Proficiency in management and financial accounting.
4. Expertise in conducting financial analysis.
5. Business acumen.
6. Risk management.
Additional knowledge/expertise required:
1. Procurement and contract management (in-depth knowledge of Public Procurement Rules will be preferred).
2. Progression in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
3. Analysis and management of data.
Experience:
1. A person with at least four years of experience at a senior managerial level, having extensive experience in budget matters in government/public sector organizations.
2. Deep practical knowledge of the Public Financial Management Act, Third Single Account Rules, State-Owned Enterprises Act, and Public Sector Companies Rules is essential.
3. Practical knowledge of financial regulations, General Financial Rules, Military Accounts Code, and financial control and budget systems.
4. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in budget-related matters in defense production departments/defense industries.
5. Extensive coordination with the government, ministries, GHQ, CSMA, FBR, and SBP (banks that operate under the SBP umbrella) is essential. Relevant experiences will be prioritized.
