I’m sharing the latest teaching opportunities at RMU in 2024. These positions at Rawalpindi Medical University are for Associate Professors (BPS-19) and Assistant Professors (BPS-18). Here are the details:
Employment based on contract – Latest Teaching Positions at RMU 2024
RMU invites applications from eligible male and female candidates domiciled in Punjab on an initial contract basis for one year for teaching positions as follows (subject to performance basis). The deadline for submission of applications is 10-05-2024:

1. Associate Professor of Pharmacology for the Pharmacology program (BPS-19) 01 30-50 1. MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications recognized by HEC/PM&DC.
2. Relevant research experience with publications in indexed medical journals, with a minimum of 10 research publications in the last 5 years, of which at least 4 were published in indexed medical journals recognized by HEC/PM&DC.
2. Associate Professor of Family Medicine for Medicine teaching (BPS-19) 01 30-50 1. MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications recognized by HEC/PM&DC.
2. Relevant research experience with publications in indexed medical journals, with a minimum of 10 research publications in the last 5 years, of which at least 4 were published in indexed medical journals recognized by HEC/PM&DC.
Assistant Professors for the following disciplines:
Anatomy (02)
Physiology (02)
Pharmacology (02)
Community Medicine (02)
18 08 25-45 1. MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications recognized by HEC/PM&DC.
2. Relevant postgraduate qualifications (MD/MS/MDSS/DCPS) or equivalent medical qualifications as per PH&DC/HEC criteria.
No experience required for these positions, but preference will be given to those with teaching experience at recognized universities or medical colleges.
Note: The requirement for Assistant Professor in Community Medicine after completion of FCPS in Community Medicine with 4 years of relevant experience. International or national expertise can be considered in equivalent qualifications.
Remarks: After FCPS, a 4-year professional experience is required for the position of Assistant Professor in Community Medicine. Consideration may be given to national or international expertise in the relevant field.
