In view of the upcoming holidays on June 1 and 2, 2024, namely Saturday and Sunday, the Governor of Punjab expressed approval for the distribution of salaries and pensions to government employees/pensioners of the Punjab government on May 31, 2024 (Friday).
This decision aligns with the provisions under Rule 5.1(1)(e), as provided in Note 1, Punjab Financial Rules, Volume-1.
It is requested that necessary arrangements be made accordingly for the disbursement of salaries and pensions on May 31, 2024 (Friday), including the preparation of relevant documents.
