Pakistan Railways, on behalf of the Headquarter Officer Lahore, invites applications based on the foundation of one-year contractual basis for retired supervisory staff of the Mechanical Loco Department.
The tenure for retiring eligible candidates is one year, meaning those who retire within the age limit of 60 years will be considered experts in all matters related to physical health at the time of appointment.

Prior to this announcement, job vacancies for 2024 were also announced through PR. Seven positions were vacant at the Pakistan Railways Headquarters. With this new announcement, there are now 25 vacancies available.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit will be 62 years.
Conditions for Appointment
Only those candidates who have worked in the aforementioned category will be eligible for contractual appointment.
The contract tenure may be extended for one more year without specifying any reason.
The authority has the right to reject any request for contract appointment without giving any reason.
Several posts may be changed without specifying any reason.
Selected candidates must pass the medical fitness test only from the Pakistan Railway Hospital.
Those who have retired, been dismissed, resigned, or retired on medical grounds will not be eligible for interviews.
Call letters will only be issued to eligible candidates for contractual appointments.
No fee will be charged from selected candidates for interviews and medical examinations.
Selected individuals may be deployed anywhere in the entire railway system.
