The traveler train, Awam Express, coming from Karachi to Lahore, met with a near-accident close to Raiwind due to strong winds on Tuesday.
According to the latest reports, the train collided with a tractor-trailer near Jiya Bagga in the area affected by strong winds.
As a result of the collision, the train’s engine also suffered partial damage, while the tractor-trailer was completely wrecked.
Fortunately, although the engine incurred partial damage, no significant injuries were reported.
Railway authorities are currently busy clearing the line to resume normal operations and investigations.
