Imran Khan appears in the Supreme Court on video link in the NAB amendments case

Islamabad: The founder of the Tehreek-e-Insaf party was presented in the Supreme Court via video link from Adiala Jail.

Amidst challenges to the validity of the recent appointments in the Supreme Court, inter-court appeals have been issued. Under the stewardship of Chief Justice of Pakistan, Qazi Faiz Esa, a five-member larger bench is deliberating on the case.

Following the complete arrangement of the video link in the jail, a screen was installed in the chamber. The presentation of the founder in the court through the video link has been made in light of the directives of the Supreme Court.

The Chief Justice has requested the complete record of the case against the recent appointments from the Islamabad High Court.
