The Government of Sindh, Department of School Education and Literacy, issued a notification on April 15, 2024, regarding the implementation of the Recruitment Policy 2021 (Sindh) for the restoration of posts and positions. The details are as follows:
Restoration of Recruitment for Posts and Positions:
Under clause (ga) of the Recruitment Policy 2021: In compliance with the decisions of the Sindh Cabinet, a meeting was held on April 3, 2024, to assist in the implementation of the recruitment process for posts and positions.
Despite objections from the Sukkur IBA, the recruitment process under Policy 2021 has been reinstated here, except for the tests conducted for deprived candidates, which were suspended in February 2023 (subject to court confirmation).
Under clause (to) of the Recruitment Policy 2021: The Sindh government will soon recruit in the following teaching categories:
1. Primary School Teachers (PSTs)
2. Junior Elementary School Teachers (JESTs)
