Beijing – Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has invited companies to establish processing plants in Balochistan to produce value-added industrial goods to enhance domestic consumption and exports.

In a meeting held in Beijing, Dar extended the invitation to Mr. Chun Jiang Guang, Vice President of Mann Metals and Chairman of Metallurgical Cooperation, to consider investment opportunities in Balochistan.

He commended the collaboration between Mann Metals, AMC, and Pakistan for their initiative and emphasized their support in implementing important projects in Balochistan.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister stressed that Pakistan’s exports to China have surged to $1.22 billion by 2022, up from $132 million in 2018, underscoring the rapid expansion of bilateral trade.

They emphasized the goal of the next phase of CPEC to enhance business-to-business cooperation between private entities of both countries.

Furthermore, they highlighted that AMC, Mann Metals, and AMC provide modern transport infrastructure to improve logistical efficiency, reducing costs of transportation for both raw materials and finished goods.
