News of 12% Increase in Salary Govt Employee in Budget 2024-2025

I am sharing the latest news of a 12% increase in government employees’ salaries in the budget for 2024-2025.

According to the Daily Jang Rawalpindi edition dated 03-05-2024, a proposal for a twelve percent increase in salaries of government employees has been suggested.

In the budget for 2024-2025, there is a 12% increase in salary.

The story indicates that there is an expectation of a 10 to 12 percent increase in salaries for government employees in the budget for 2024-25.

There is an opportunity to increase pensions for retired employees from BPS-01 to BPS-15 by fifteen percent.

However, employees in BPS-16 and above may experience a decrease in benefits. However, these are just reports, and we cannot confirm such news until the government makes a final decision.

The government has decided to allocate the objectives of the budget before the arrival of non-communal financial aid.

Before the announcement of the budget for 2024-25, we will read and hear many news regarding salary increases and allocations.

As they say, “all’s well that ends well,” so we have to wait for the conclusion, meaning the day of the budget announcement.

If there is an increase of 10% or 12%, it is not good news for the employees. Employees are demanding a hundred percent increase in salaries.

The prices of everyday items are increasing, as are rents for houses. Medical expenses have also increased significantly.

In such inflationary conditions, a ten percent increase in salaries will not suffice for employees.

A few days ago, there was news of a ten percent increase in government employees’ salaries in the budget for 2024-25.

Employees’ Demands

All employees request the government to increase salaries by fifty to one hundred percent to provide some relief for their financial issues.

The government should also consider increasing house rent allowance, conveyance allowance, and medical allowance for government employees.

In 2017, the government increased house rent allowance (HRA), while the actual increase in medical allowance was in 2014.
